The 2025 Ford Maverick is Back & Better

The 2025 Ford Maverick is back in the spotlight at Mid-State Ford! With a fresh appearance, smarter technology, exciting new trims, and the long-awaited availability of all-wheel drive for hybrid models, the Maverick is reclaiming its place as the most practical, affordable, and innovative truck in the compact pickup segment. more A Bold New Look & Tech Overhaul The 2025 Maverick wears a sharper, more refined front-end design that instantly gives it a more modern, confident presence on the road. The front end features a bolder, blockier look with new two-piece lower grille elements, reshaped LED headlight signatures, and an optional black appearance package with gloss black wheels. Inside, Ford has elevated the infotainment experience across the board. All trims now feature a standard 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen, which replaces a smaller outgoing screen. The system provides wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, a built-in 5G modem, Alexa integration, and additional advanced driver assistance tools like a 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control on higher trims. More Powertrain Possibilities Than Ever The all-new Maverick now comes in three major versions: Hybrid FWD/AWD, EcoBoost AWD, and two specialty models—Lobo and Tremor—each offering something unique. Hybrid FWD/AWD: Still the most affordable and fuel-efficient option, the 2.5L Atkinson-cycle hybrid returns with 191 horsepower and outstanding mileage, up to 42 mpg in the city. For the first time ever, this hybrid system is now available with all-wheel drive, giving buyers in places like the mountains of West Virginia better traction without giving up on efficiency. Towing capacity jumps to 4,000 lbs when properly equipped. EcoBoost AWD: The 2.0L turbocharged EcoBoost engine remains a fan favorite for drivers wanting more spirited acceleration. Paired with an 8-speed automatic and available AWD, it puts down 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque, the highest in any Maverick for road trips and towing. Maverick Lobo: New for 2025, the Lobo (Spanish for "wolf") is a street-tuned performance model. It builds on the EcoBoost engine but adds a lower ride height, paddle shifters, black aerodynamic 19” wheels, and aggressive styling inside and out. It’s aimed at buyers who want sporty handling in a practical package, and starts around $35,000. Maverick Tremor: Ford also expanded the Tremor into a full trim level this year, no longer just a package. It’s all about off-road ability, with Trail Control, a locking rear differential, increased ground clearance, upgraded shocks, and an off-road-tuned AWD system. The Tremor starts just above $40,000, offering rugged looks and serious trail cred without going full Bronco. Features That Feel Premium Without the Price Tag Even base models of the Maverick now include keyless entry, LED lighting, and rear under-seat storage. Higher trims include a heated steering wheel, premium features, and an upgraded B&O sound system. Pro trailer back up assist, blind spot monitoring, and hitch guidance make towing more accessible, even for first-time truck buyers. All Mavericks come with standard driver aids like lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and pre-collision braking. The Recall? Already Handled In case you heard about the June 2025 recall, here's the scoop: Ford recalled roughly 64,000 Maverick units due to an issue with the backup camera image not displaying properly and a faulty airbag indicator light. The problem came down to loose retaining clips in the instrument cluster that affected how warning indicators and rear camera feeds were displayed on the screen. Ford began installing redesigned clips back in late April, and new production units, including those arriving now at Mid-State Ford, have already been fixed at the factory. Owners of earlier builds will receive official recall letters by September, but affected trucks are safe to drive and quick to repair. So if you’ve been waiting to take a test drive, come see us! Whether you're looking for hybrid fuel economy, weekend warrior off-road chops, or sporty daily driving, the 2025 Maverick lineup has something for every lifestyle. Starting in the high $20Ks for the hybrid and going up to just over $40K for loaded Tremor or Lobo trims, there’s simply nothing else in the compact pickup segment that offers this kind of value, flexibility, and fun. And with Ford Employee Pricing running through July 7, the timing couldn’t be better! We’ve got a full lineup of Mavericks back on the lot just in time for customers to take advantage of limited-time savings before the offer ends. Come take a test drive at Mid-State Ford, Home of the Big Jon Deals!

4 Truly Impressive Features of the 2021 Ford F-350

The 2021 Ford F-350 has rolled onto the market and quickly become a favorite of Ford enthusiasts. Imposing and aggressive, this truck is hard to miss on the road and the ranch. However, while the F-350 is a beast of a truck, its handling is surprisingly agile and athletic. If you're considering this workhorse as your next vehicle, keep reading to see why we are impressed with this iteration of the Ford F-350. more 1. Well-Suited for Multiple Terrains Unsurprisingly, this tank of a truck is ready to get the job done, on or off-road. All-wheel drive is an option for this truck, but rear-wheel drive brings a commendable performance. No matter what type of drivetrain you have, with the twist of a knob, you can customize the performance of your truck to suit the terrain. The default driving mode is Normal, but you'll also be able to choose from Deep Sand/Snow, Towing/Hauling, and Economy (fuel saving) driving modes. There is even a Slippery Terrain setting. These selections help you maximize your truck's performance and keep you as safe as possible while driving in uncertain conditions. 2. Off-Road Ready While the Slippery and Deep Sand/Snow driving mode options are excellent for off-road journeys, you may want to consider upgrading if you plan on spending a great deal of time off the pavement. The Tremor Off-Road package is an incredible option for wilderness lovers. This package is available on certain trim levels and provides everything you need to brave the woods. We especially love the Rock Crawl setting included in the Tremor Package. However, if you're not a complete off-road fiend, you may be perfectly happy with the Trail Control System that comes stock with the F-350. The Trail Control System works as a cruise control of sorts for off-road driving, providing peace of mind and an effortless adventure. 3. Towing Capabilities The options for what you can haul are virtually limitless with the F-350. Equip your truck with a gooseneck hitch, and your towing possibilities will indeed be endless. You'll even be able to haul up to an incredible 37,000 pounds. We've yet to meet a competitor that can match this kind of sheer pulling power. Sometimes keeping an eye on a large trailer can be tricky; that's why Ford created the Pro Trailer Backup Assist feature. This feature makes throwing it in reverse a breeze by allowing you to have a 360-degree view of your surroundings, thanks to multiple cameras on your vehicle. 4. Simple Loading and Unloading Maneuvering large items in and out of a high truck bed can be challenging. Luckily, the Ford F-350 does its best to make the process as simple as possible. If you need to reach the truck bed from alongside the cabin, you can use power-deployable running boards. The vehicle also includes a tailgate step which makes climbing in and out of the bed much more manageable. The tailgate step even stows away neatly when not in use. This powerful truck has everything you need to get even the most strenuous of jobs done. Come on over to Mid-State Ford in Summersville, WV and take this imposing truck for a test drive today!
