Get to Know the 2021 Ford Ranger

After an eight-year absence, the Ford Ranger returned to the American market two years ago and instantly succeeded. The 2021 model comes with new and familiar features, further establishing the Ford Ranger as the ideal vehicle for those who need to carry heavy loads and want a reliable family vehicle. Many Trims and Configurations The 2021 Ford Ranger is very configurable, and you can be sure you'll be getting a vehicle that suits your needs and preferences. The first choice is between a 5-foot and a 6-foot cab bed, depending on what you plan on doing with the truck. Choose from among three trims, including the XL, XLT, and Lariat. The basic XL trim comes with 16-inch steel wheels, a manual-locking tailgate, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a four-speaker sound system. It also has two available upgrade packages, one that adds more technology. The other package enhances the vehicle's safety. more Higher trims add more features, such as larger alloy wheels, an 8-inch touch-screen interface, smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a navigation system, and many others. The 2021 model also adds an optional Tremor Off-Road package for the top Lariat trim, making the Ford Ranger well-prepared for any off-road adventures. Power and Performance The 2021 Ford Ranger has only one available engine choice, but it should be powerful and versatile enough to suit all your needs. The 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine has a power output of up to 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, assisted by a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain makes the Ford Ranger an agile vehicle for its size since it needs only 6.8 seconds to reach a speed of 60 mph from a standstill. Comfortable and Spacious Interior Modern trucks are no longer stiff and uncomfortable to drive or travel in, and the 2021 Ford Ranger is a good example of this thinking. The vehicle's cabin is not only spacious, especially in the 6-foot configuration, but also easy to get in and out of, thanks to the wide-opening doors. The seats are soft and supportive, and they manage to keep all passengers comfortable even for long periods of time in the vehicle. Cabin insulation is great, and the materials used throughout the cabin are soft to the touch and highly resistant to stains or wear. Many Active Safety Features Since the 2021 Ford Ranger can be a great family car, safety is definitely high on most buyers' priority list. The most useful driver aids available include the following: Forward collision mitigation system. Blind-spot monitor with cross-traffic alert. Lane-keeping assist system. Adaptive cruise control. Rear parking sensors. All these active safety systems work together to alert the driver in case of potential danger and take corrective steps to avoid or mitigate it. Drivers can find many highly versatile vehicles on the market, but not many can rival the 2021 Ford Ranger. With its heavy-duty ruggedness, supremely comfortable cabin, and powerful engine, it can be a great choice for many types of drivers. Visit us at Mid-State Ford to test drive this amazing vehicle!
