After almost 25 years off the road, we’re pleased to be introducing the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco. Part of the sixth generation of Broncos, this vehicle is now available in two-door and four-door configurations and has been redesigned to take off the beaten path. With many customization options, impressive off-roading features, and impeccable styling, you’re sure to love this model of one of America’s famous cars. Here’s what you can expect from the 2021 Ford Bronco.
Retro Styling and Design
The 2021 Ford Bronco features a cool retro design that takes drivers back to the Bronco’s heyday. Say hello to that familiar boxy design with removable doors and roof. There are seven unique trims with striking names to match: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamonds, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and First Edition, which is a limited edition Bronco. Only 3,500 units will be produced.
On the Big Bend trim, you can expect 17-inch wheel carbonized gray wheels, LED fogl amps, privacy glass, and carbonized privacy glass. The Black Diamond adds a heavy-duty modular bumper and rock rails. The Wildtrak features stylish badging on the hood, while the First Edition comes with hood and bodyside graphics. Other standard features include LED headlamps, black door handles and mirror caps, and fender flares and tie-down hooks.
Capable Engines and Performance Features
There’s ample power in the 2021 Ford Bronco thanks to two very capable engines under the hood. The bottom four trims come standard with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. This turbocharged machine produces 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. It is paired to a seven-speed manual transmission with crawler gear for improved off-roading.
There’s an available turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6, which is standard on the Wildtrak and First Edition. It’s paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission and produces 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
Each Bronco comes with all-season tires and a Terrain Management System with Goes Over Any Terrain (G.O.A.T) driving modes. The Base comes with five drive modes, the Big Bend and Outer Banks come with six, while the other trims come with seven. A high-performance off-road stability suspension system is standard on the bottom four trims. With the higher trims, position-sensitive dampers are added.
Interior Comforts
Standard interior features in the 2021 Ford Bronco include carpeted flooring, manual air conditioning, and easy-to-reach grab bars along the front dashboard. Cloth upholstery is standard in the Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Wildtrak trims. For marine-grade vinyl seats, choose the Black Diamond. The limited-edition First Edition comes with leather-trimmed seats and a unique interior.
The 2021 Bronco comes equipped with the SYNC 4 infotainment system and an 8-inch touch screen. Interior packages, like the Lux Package, add on a 12-inch center-stack touch screen, a 110V AC power outlet, a B&O 10-speaker sound system, two USB ports, and a voice-activated touch-screen navigation system.
Safety and Security
The Mid Package on the 2021 Bronco equips this SUV with Ford’s CoPilot-360 suite of driver-assistance features. This equips the vehicle with pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, a lane-keeping system, a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and auto high-beam headlamps for better visibility in poor road conditions.
